Size guide

Ring sizes here are US sizes. If you are between two, take the larger one — a ring has to pass the knuckle.

1 · Measure with a strip of paper or string

Wrap it around the base of the finger, snug but not tight.
Mark where it overlaps and lay it flat against a ruler.
That length in millimetres is your circumference — find it in the table.

2 · Or measure a ring that already fits

Measure straight across the inside of the band, edge to edge.
That is the inside diameter — the middle column below.

US size	Inside ø	Circumference
5	15.7 mm	49.3 mm
6	16.5 mm	51.9 mm
7	17.3 mm	54.4 mm
8	18.1 mm	57.0 mm
9	18.9 mm	59.5 mm
10	19.8 mm	62.1 mm
11	20.6 mm	64.6 mm
12	21.4 mm	67.2 mm
13	22.2 mm	69.7 mm
14	23.0 mm	72.3 mm
15	23.8 mm	74.8 mm
16	24.6 mm	77.4 mm

3 · Or check it against your screen

A screen has to be told how big it is first, or the circles below mean nothing. Hold any bank card against the outline and drag until they match.

85.6 mm — any bank card

Bracelets and chains are listed by their inner circumference — the size of the loop itself, not your wrist.

Measure your wrist

Wrap a strip of paper or string around your wrist, below the wrist bone.
Mark the overlap, lay it flat on a ruler and read the centimetres.
Add the allowance below for the fit you want.

Fit	Add	An 18 cm wrist
Close	+ 1.0 cm	18 → 19 cm
Comfort	+ 2.0 cm	18 → 20 cm
Loose	+ 3.0 cm	18 → 21 cm

A heavy link or a cuff wears shorter than a fine chain — if you are between two, the larger one is the safer pick.

Not right when it arrives? Every piece is covered by the 30-day money-back guarantee and the size guarantee.

Home, in Norway

Where I am going

Going Home

After nine years at the forge, I am going home to Norway.

What is left on the shelves is what you see here — the last of a thousand hand-forged pieces. I would rather every one of them ends up on someone who wears it than in a liquidator's melt.

That is why it is free. You cover the postage, and it goes in the box. That is the whole deal.

Forge & Fjord vs. Other Brands

Forge & Fjord

Stainless steel & sterling silver

A good weight — feels real in your hand

Deep, crisp hand-finished runes

Real, researched Norse symbolism

Lifetime warranty & perfect-fit guarantee

Tracked shipping on every order

Other Brands

Cheap, flimsy alloy

Light and hollow — feels cheap

Shallow, mass-stamped detail

No help if it breaks or doesn't fit

No tracking, no idea where it is

A note from the Forge & Fjord smiths

Beware of Cheap Imitations

Lately we've seen sellers lift our designs, our photos, even our words — then ship flimsy, machine-stamped pieces that feel cheap the moment you pick them up. If you've been burned like that before, it's no surprise a free piece makes you ask whether it's real.

Look for the Forge & Fjord name. Every genuine piece is stainless steel or sterling silver, hand-finished, with a good weight to it — and backed by our lifetime warranty. If it wasn't bought here, it isn't a real Forge & Fjord, and we can't promise it'll survive the first storm.
